Sherly has spent more than 15 years in bankruptcy and mortgage default operations — preparing petitions, schedules, statements, means tests, Chapter 13 plans, motions, proofs of claim, and reaffirmation agreements for attorneys, lenders, and legal teams across multiple states.
Her background covers both debtor and creditor representation, CM/ECF filing, trustee communications, and high-volume case management. That creditor-side experience is a quiet advantage: she knows exactly what lenders and trustees scrutinize in a filing, because she spent years on the side doing the scrutinizing.
She pairs that depth with a technical, process-driven approach — disciplined data management, clean and accurate reporting, fluency in Jubilee and Best Case, and bilingual (English and Spanish) support — plus the meticulous attention to detail that bankruptcy is unforgiving without.
Sherly leads every engagement personally, and her team works as an extension of your firm — inside your process, under your supervision.
Paralegal Bankruptcy Services was founded on a simple observation: bankruptcy attorneys spend far too many hours on document preparation and case administration — hours that could go to clients, court, and growing the practice.
We are a U.S.-based virtual paralegal team focused exclusively on bankruptcy. From consumer Chapter 7 and 13 filings to business reorganizations under Chapter 11, we prepare the petitions, plans, and filings that keep a bankruptcy practice moving — all under the supervising attorney's direction.
We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer and we do not work with the public. Our clients are licensed attorneys and law firms, and our role is to work seamlessly behind the scenes, inside your firm's own process.

Paralegal Bankruptcy Services is a 100% U.S.-based bankruptcy paralegal firm working exclusively for licensed attorneys and law firms. Chapter 7 preparation is $300 per case for a personal filing and $400 for a business filing, or $410 with extended case management through discharge. Chapter 13 is $400 per case, or $500 with plan drafting. Chapter 11 is billed at $90 per hour, and our general rate for overflow, amendments, and routine work is $70 per hour. An emergency skeleton petition to trigger the automatic stay is $175, with full schedules to follow. Chapter 7 cases come back in 7 days and Chapter 13 in 10, once we have a complete intake package. Our paralegals draft directly inside your Best Case, Jubilee, or NextChapter account, so nothing is re-keyed. We carry errors and omissions and cyber liability insurance, and our team of six is bilingual in English and Spanish.
