Paralegal BankruptcyServices

Privacy Policy

Effective July 4, 2026

Overview

Paralegal Bankruptcy Services LLC ("PBS," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information we collect through our website and how we use it. Our services are provided to licensed attorneys and law firms only — not to consumers or pro se debtors — and nothing on our site is legal advice.

1. Who this Policy covers

This Policy covers information collected through our website. Separately, when we perform paralegal work for a law-firm client, we handle that firm's and its clients' confidential information under our written services agreement and Data Security Addendum with the firm — not under this website Policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: when you use our contact form or email us — your name, firm, email, phone, and whatever you include in your message.

Automatically collected: basic technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, collected through standard web server logs and privacy-friendly analytics.

Cookies: we use minimal cookies for site functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the website, and we ask that you not send debtor PII (Social Security numbers, financial account data) through the website contact form or email — that is handled securely through our engagement process with your firm.

3. How we use information

To respond to your inquiry and communicate about our services; to operate, maintain, and improve the website; to send information you request (we do not send unsolicited marketing without a lawful basis and opt-out); and to comply with law and protect our rights.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with: (a) service providers that help us run the site or communicate — for example, our website host and privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel), form handling (Formspree), and email (Zoho Mail) — bound to protect it; and (b) as required by law, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to protect rights, safety, or property.

5. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No website transmission is 100% secure, so please do not send sensitive data through the site. Our handling of debtor PII in client engagements is governed by separate, stricter security terms and our Data-Security Policy.

6. Data retention

We keep website inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business and legal purposes, then delete it.

7. Your choices

You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time, control cookies in your browser, and — depending on your state — may have rights to access or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us to make a request.

8. Text messaging (SMS)

If you call or text us at (800) 711-4313, we may reply by SMS with conversational messages about your inquiry, appointment, or account. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. See our Terms of Service for the full SMS terms.

SMS Privacy: No mobile opt-in data will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Children

Our site and services are for businesses (law firms) and are not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy; the effective date shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted here.
