Per-case pricing
Transparent pricing for every chapter
Flat, published rates for consumer chapters and transparent hourly for Chapter 11. Complex and above-median-income cases can fall outside the flat rate — ask us about a case and we will tell you which it is.

- Means test calculation and Schedules A–J preparation
- Statement of Financial Affairs and required disclosures
- Credit counseling / debtor education tracking

Moved to the front of the queue — 7-business-day turnaround.
7-business-day turnaround, plan drafting included.
Ongoing case management through the plan term (PACER monitoring, trustee correspondence, plan modifications) is available at our $70/hr general rate.
Paralegal support for business reorganizations — the document-heavy work that consumes attorney time, handled by experienced hands.
First-day motions, plan & disclosure statement, monthly operating reports, and filings
- Voluntary petition, schedules, and SOFA preparation
- Monthly operating reports and compliance tracking
- Creditor matrix, service lists, and noticing
- Plan and disclosure statement document assembly
- Deadline and calendar management
Billed hourly at $90. Chapter 11 and Subchapter V matters vary too much for a flat fee, so the hours depend on the case. Routine and administrative work on any chapter is our $70/hr general rate.
Our general rate for any chapter — overflow, amendments, routine and administrative work, and one-off tasks when a per-case fee doesn't fit.
Billing
- Per-case invoicing, or consolidated billing every two weeks for firms sending 3+ cases a month.
How it works
- 1Send us the case — the intake documents and the chapter.
- 2We prepare it in your software — petition, schedules, means test, plan — and run QC.
- 3You review, sign, and file. You keep the client and the courtroom.
Full-case support
Beyond the petition
Not just the initial filing — the contested and ongoing work too, handled hourly under your supervision.
We work in the tools you already use
Our paralegals work directly inside your own Best Case, Jubilee, or NextChapter account. Nothing is re-keyed and nothing comes back as a PDF for your staff to retype. You open the software you already use and the petition is there, ready to review and sign.
Reliable turnaround
Chapter 7 comes back in 7 days or sooner, Chapter 13 in 10 — once we have a complete intake package. You're never the bottleneck.
Bilingual support
Bilingual team — English & Spanish (se habla español). A real advantage for firms serving Spanish-speaking debtors — intake and client documents handled in either language.
If it comes back on us, we fix it
We stand behind the work we prepare. If a filing is kicked back because of something we got wrong, we correct it and return it at no additional charge. Delays and changes that come from the client, the attorney, or the court are outside our control, and additional work caused by them may be billed separately.
Paralegal Bankruptcy Services is a 100% U.S.-based bankruptcy paralegal firm working exclusively for licensed attorneys and law firms. Chapter 7 preparation is $300 per case for a personal filing and $400 for a business filing, or $410 with extended case management through discharge. Chapter 13 is $400 per case, or $500 with plan drafting. Chapter 11 is billed at $90 per hour, and our general rate for overflow, amendments, and routine work is $70 per hour. An emergency skeleton petition to trigger the automatic stay is $175, with full schedules to follow. Chapter 7 cases come back in 7 days and Chapter 13 in 10, once we have a complete intake package. Our paralegals draft directly inside your Best Case, Jubilee, or NextChapter account, so nothing is re-keyed. We carry errors and omissions and cyber liability insurance, and our team of six is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Flat fee per case. No retainer, no minimum, no monthly bill.
We are a flat-fee service. You pay a published price per case, and hourly only for the odd jobs that do not fit a per-case fee, such as amendments, plan modifications, and one-off administrative work. There is no retainer, no monthly minimum, and nothing owed in a month you send us nothing. That is deliberate. Bankruptcy volume moves with filings, rates, and the season, and a monthly retainer makes you pay for capacity in the quiet months to have it in the busy ones. Per-case pricing means your support cost tracks your caseload instead of your calendar.
What the flat fee does not include
The per-case fee covers preparation. It does not include the credit report cost or the court filing fee, which are passed through at cost. Amendments after filing are billed at our $70 hourly rate unless the correction is on us, in which case there is no charge. Complex cases and above-median-income cases can fall outside the flat rate, so ask us about a case and we will tell you which it is.
The questions you should ask us, answered before you ask
Anyone comparing paralegal services should be asking a short list of hard questions. Here are ours, answered, so you do not have to run the interview.
What does it cost? Our prices are published on this page rather than quoted on request. Chapter 7 is $300 for a personal filing and $400 for a business filing, Chapter 13 is $400 or $500 with plan drafting, Chapter 11 is $90 per hour, and overflow and amendment work is $70 per hour.
What is not included? The credit report and the court filing fee, which are passed through at cost, and post-filing amendments unless the error was ours. Complex and above-median-income cases can fall outside the flat rate, and we will tell you which category a case is in before we start it.
Who actually does the work, and where? Our own U.S.-based paralegals. Nothing is sent offshore. They work inside your Best Case, Jubilee, or NextChapter account under your supervision, so nothing is re-keyed and no document comes back as a PDF for your staff to retype.
Do you know my district's local forms? We publish district-specific guides covering local rules, standing Chapter 13 trustees, plan form requirements, and 341 practice for the courts we work in most. If yours is not published yet, tell us the district and we will tell you plainly whether we know it or need to learn it.
How do you handle confidentiality, conflicts, and data security? We carry errors and omissions and cyber liability insurance, both active. Client data stays in your systems wherever possible, and our confidentiality and data handling practices are set out in detail on our why us page.
How fast, and what if you get it wrong? Chapter 7 comes back in 7 days and Chapter 13 in 10, measured from a complete intake package rather than from first contact. If a filing is kicked back because of something we got wrong, we correct it and return it at no additional charge.
How many revisions are included? There is no limit when the error is ours. If we got something wrong, we correct it and send it back at no additional charge, however many passes that takes. What is not a revision is a change that comes from somewhere else: the client produces a new document, changes their mind, or answers late, or the court or the trustee asks for something new. That is additional work at our $70 hourly rate, and we will tell you which one it is.
How big is the team? Six of us, all U.S.-based, bilingual in English and Spanish. You are not being routed to a call centre or a rotating pool of contractors.
What is the commitment? None. No retainer, no monthly minimum, and nothing owed in a month you send us nothing. Send one case and see.
We work for attorneys, not for debtors
Paralegal Bankruptcy Services works exclusively for licensed attorneys and law firms. We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer under 11 U.S.C. § 110, we do not prepare documents for pro se debtors, and we do not give legal advice. A § 110 petition preparer works directly for an unrepresented debtor. Our engagement is with your firm: you are the attorney of record, the client is yours, and you review, sign, and file every document we prepare. That separation is what keeps the supervision analysis clean.
Services are provided exclusively to licensed attorneys and law firms. We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer and do not provide legal advice or services to the public.
