Chapter 13 plan preparation for attorneys

The plan is where Chapter 13 cases stall — the disposable-income math, the treatment of secured and priority claims, the feasibility check. Our U.S.-based, bankruptcy-only paralegals prepare the petition, schedules, and the plan itself in your software, so you review, sign, and file a case built to confirm.

A Chapter 13 is a repayment case, and everything turns on a plan the trustee will recommend and the court will confirm. That means the numbers have to hold: current monthly income averaged over six months, the Form 122C commitment-period and disposable-income calculation, the Schedule I and J budget, and the arrears, secured claims, and priority debts the plan has to fund over three to five years. Get one input wrong and you're back at a continued confirmation hearing. We build that file so the math is defensible before it leaves your desk.

What we prepare on a Chapter 13

Draft the plan, or let us

Some firms want to keep the plan in-house and hand off everything around it; others want the whole thing prepared and ready to review. We support both. The without-plan service delivers the petition, schedules, means test, and trustee submission while your firm drafts the plan. The with-plan service adds the drafted Chapter 13 plan. Either way, the legal calls — the treatment strategy, the objections, the confirmation argument — stay with you.

Because we do bankruptcy exclusively and bill a flat fee per case, you can take the reorganization work you've been turning away without hiring a plan specialist. We prepare; you review, sign, and file, under your supervision.

Flat, published Chapter 13 pricing

Chapter 13 preparation is $400 per case without plan drafting and $500 per case with the plan drafted. Expedited Emergency filing is $600 without plan or $700 with plan. Ongoing case management through the plan term is billed at our $70/hour general rate.

Frequently asked questions

Do you draft the Chapter 13 plan itself?

Yes. Our with-plan service includes drafting the Chapter 13 plan alongside the petition, schedules, and means test. If your firm prefers to draft the plan, our without-plan service delivers everything up to and including trustee submission.

How much does Chapter 13 plan preparation cost?

$400 per case without plan drafting, or $500 with the Chapter 13 plan drafted. Expedited Emergency filing is $600 without plan or $700 with plan. Ongoing case management through the plan term is available at our $70/hour general rate.

Can you handle the disposable-income and feasibility math?

Yes — the Form 122C calculation, the Schedule I/J budget, and the feasibility check that a plan actually funds. We flag numbers that won't confirm before the plan reaches the trustee, not after an objection.

What about plan modifications and amendments later?

We handle amended schedules and Chapter 13 plan modifications throughout the plan term, billed at our general rate, so your confirmed cases keep moving without tying up attorney time.

Services are provided exclusively to licensed attorneys and law firms. We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer and do not provide legal advice or services to the public.
