Chapter 7 preparation — FAQ
What does Chapter 7 preparation include?
The means test (Form 122A), Schedules A–J, the Statement of Financial Affairs and required disclosures, credit-counseling tracking, and a filing-ready petition for your review, signature, and filing.
How much does Chapter 7 preparation cost?
$300 per case for a personal Chapter 7, or $400 for a business Chapter 7. With extended case management through discharge it is $410 — adding PACER docket monitoring, 341 reminders, reaffirmations, and the discharge letter. Emergency preparation gets a 7-business-day turnaround for $500. Especially complex business cases may be billed hourly.
Can you handle above-median means-test cases?
Yes. We prepare the full Form 122A-2 calculation with documented expenses, and flag up front if the numbers suggest Chapter 13 is the better fit — the legal call stays with you.
Services are provided exclusively to licensed attorneys and law firms. We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer and do not provide legal advice or services to the public.
