FAQ

Questions attorneys ask us

Do you work only under attorney supervision?
Yes. We work exclusively for licensed attorneys and take direction from you. We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer under 11 U.S.C. § 110, we do not advise debtors, and we never accept the public as clients. You review, counsel the client, sign, and file — we prepare the work.
Who are your clients — can consumers hire you directly?
Our clients are licensed attorneys and law firms only. We do not provide legal advice or services to the public. If you are an individual considering bankruptcy, you should consult a licensed bankruptcy attorney.
Are you U.S.-based?
Yes. Our team is U.S.-based, so your files stay onshore, prepared by people who understand U.S. bankruptcy practice, local court expectations, and the confidentiality standards your clients assume.
Which chapters do you handle?
Chapter 7 (means test, Schedules A–J, Statement of Financial Affairs, disclosures), Chapter 13 (the plan itself, disposable-income calculations, confirmation prep, and amended plans through the term), and Chapter 11 reorganization support.
What does it cost?
Chapter 7 (personal) is $300 and business is $400; Chapter 13 is $400 without plan drafting or $500 with the plan. Chapter 7 with extended case management through discharge — PACER docket monitoring, 341 reminders, reaffirmations, and the discharge letter — is $410. Need it fast? Emergency filing gets a 7-business-day turnaround: $500 for Chapter 7 and $600 ($700 with plan) for Chapter 13. Chapter 11 is billed hourly at $90/hour, and our general rate is $70/hour for overflow, amendments, and routine work. Consolidated biweekly billing is available at 3+ cases a month.
What is your turnaround time?
Once we have a complete intake package, we build the timeline around your filing deadline — you're never the bottleneck. Because our fee is earned on delivery of the draft (not on when your client finishes the process), timelines that stall on client documents don't change what you pay.
Do you handle emergency filings?
Yes. Standard turnaround is 7 days or sooner for Chapter 7 and 10 or sooner for Chapter 13, once we have a complete intake package. And if a client is days from a foreclosure sale or garnishment, we file an emergency skeleton petition that triggers the automatic stay to stop collection — a flat +$150 — with the full schedules to follow.
Do you offer AI-assisted preparation?
Yes — as customizable capabilities, not a one-size-fits-all black box. We can set up AI data extraction (into the means test and schedules), completeness and error checks, credit-report parsing, and an optional client-intake assistant — all with our paralegals verifying every output and you reviewing and signing. Each setup is tailored to your firm, and data-security specifics are scoped in a conversation before anything touches client data. Ask us what fits your practice.
Do you offer bilingual support?
Yes — our team is bilingual in English and Spanish (se habla español). That's a real advantage for firms serving Spanish-speaking debtors: intake and client documents can be handled in either language.
What software do you work in?
We work inside your existing bankruptcy platform — including Best Case and Jubilee — so there's no re-keying and no change to your workflow. We also handle CM/ECF court filing.
How do you protect client confidentiality?
We treat debtor information — Social Security numbers, income, account balances, full financial histories — as strictly confidential, transmitted and stored securely, accessed only by the people working your file. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do we get started?
The simplest way to evaluate us is a single case. Tell us the chapters you file and roughly how many, send one intake package, and judge the work directly.

Services are provided exclusively to licensed attorneys and law firms. We are not a bankruptcy petition preparer and do not provide legal advice or services to the public.
